PLAY GOLF
Health professionals love golf. Maybe not everyone, but we all know someone who does!
RAISE MONEY
Health professionals exist to serve others. Helping the underserved of the world is why we practice.
MORE MEDICAL MISSIONS
Together, we can compete at our favorite game while raising money for medical missions!
WHO IS JOSE'S HANDS?
On October 1, 2008, Major José Jamil Miranda, U.S. Army, MD, MPH suddenly passed away. José was a dedicated and devoted medical missionary; caring for and giving to others was the cornerstone of his life. He was a leader in his field and among his peers, earning their respect and admiration. With an infectious smile and boundless energy, he sought out to make medical missions an even greater part of his life before his untimely passing at the age of just 33.
Jose’s Hands was established as a non-profit organization to honor José and perpetuate his values and his legacy. We, at Jose’s Hands are proud to honor him and what he stood for by enabling medical students the opportunity to explore a unique and underserved area of public health that will create a permanent connection between José’s family and the world.

EVENT OVERVIEW
The Doctor’s Cup Tournament has become a tradition for South Florida hospital groups, medical service organizations, and private practices, who gather every year to celebrate their passion for Golf and Philanthropy while facing each other to prove who has the best Golfing Skills Set. The collected funds will help Health Students Participate in Medical Missions across the Caribbean, Central, and South America.
It will be an annual “winner takes the cup home” tournament to settle once and for all - which doctor and medical organization reigns in golf skills in South Florida.
