Spring Break 2022 Medical Mission to THE Dominican Dominican Republic

We're BACK!

After a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Jose's Hands is returning to the Dominican Republic for our first medical mission of 2022.

We will collaborate with One to the Other Ministries (OTTOM), and medical professionals in the Dominican Republic.

We've partnered with the Barry University School of Podiatry again, for the 4th year in a row. We will take Podiatry students so they can apply their skills in underserved communities.

This Trip will take place from Saturday, March 5th to Saturday, March 12th. This coincides with Barry's spring break, allowing healthcare students to participate without missing any classes!

The main goal of our student medical mission is to provide medical assistance in areas like internal medicine, public health, podiatry, and much more, to a large number of under-served people in Santiago Rodríguez, a rural village of the Dominican Republic.

The healthcare students will shadow American and Dominican doctors and experience a chance to work directly with patients. Allowing them to experience a more accurate “taste” of what they will experience in the future as healthcare providers.

WANT TO SPONSOR A STUDENT?

As you can imagine, students are reluctant to go on a medical mission due to the expenses. This is the entire purpose behind Jose's Hands: to provide scholarships so they don't forgo this life-transforming opportunity.

Help us send medical attention, medicines, and support to underserved communities of the Dominican Republic! Visit us at www.joseshands.org/donate to help us in this labor!
