My name is Lindsey Kanno and I am currently a first-year podiatric medical student at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. I completed my undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College, where I double majored in Anthropology and History. I went on to complete a post-baccalaureate program in premedical studies at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Since I was a child, I’ve always loved to volunteer within my community, and I am excited to apply the skills I have learned to help others. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to volunteer with Jose’s Hands and to travel on this medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
