My name is Gabriela Hernandez and I am a second year podiatry medical student at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. I am originally from Miami, Florida and I graduated with my bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Barry University. During my time as an undergraduate and first year of medical school I have volunteered at numerous homeless shelters and hospitals. This will be my first mission trip ever and I am excited to help those in need and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this journey.
